We dock at Kirkehamn for the evening, an incredibly idyllic little town on the island of Hidra. Consists on not much more than a few houses, a church and a tiny food shop. Here is the first full view of the magnificent Smolten, as well. A huge and spacious vessel as you can see. 😛

I got to sleep in and woke up 2-3 hours before we were set to pass Lindesnes. 😊 Lindesnes is the southern most part of Norway, so from here we start our journey going north. Day 1: Arriving at Kristiansand
This will be our first sleepover of the trip. We’ve cooked a “romantic” dinner of a disgusting canned slop known as Spaghetti ala Capri, usually more suited as dog food, but hey, you take what you can get. 😝 The sunset still made the evening peaceful and lovely.

We left Larvik at 2AM on September 3rd, and our first stop was Risør to fill up on diesel.
